Ship Happens is a steampunk airship pirate themed guild based on the hopefully soon to be released game Guild Wars 2.  We are very layed back, asking only that you have fun with the game and allow other players to have fun as well.  We do have goals in mind but do not force any of them on our members.  Sure some participation is required but nothing too demanding.  We understand that real life comes first, ALWAYS, and that forcing members to take part in guild activities 24/7 will make us boring and will feel like a job more than a game.  Our biggest goal is to be both feared and respected on our server by being the most powerful guild.  This doesn't mean you have to be twinked to be in Ship Happens.  It's a goal, not a requirement.  We would also like to become a good raiding guild.  This of course ties into our first goal.  The more powerful each member, the more powerful the guild.  strength is not going to be our only strong point (see what I did there?).  We also plan on using tactics on the virtual battlefield.  We already work well as a group and plan on using our ability to communicate to each other to have the upper hand during all PvP battles.  Oh, did I mention we want to be PvP gods as well?  Of course every guild has these goals and maybe some guilds will start out with more members and better planning.  Chances are, those guilds will not have what we have and that's a bunch of awesome people who know how to put fun before grind.

        Ship Happens is also a role playing guild.  We understand that RP is not for everyone, so we allow nonRPers to join us as well.  All that we ask is that the nonRPing members do not disrupt any guild RP.  It's rude and will get you kicked out, quick.  Accidents will happen and that's understandable but running into a RP meeting and using your "Rick Roll" macro is just rude.  If you are new to RP, we have will not mock you.  Instead, we'll work with you and help you along the way.

        We will of course help fellow members level up and/or get better gear, even if we are a much higher level than the one we are helping and will not get much of an award for it.  Helping fellow guild members helps our guild.  Activities such as this is isn't really a requirement but we do ask that members do so and it always looks good when we look for those deserving a promotion.
